More than two-thirds of key U.S. military installations are threatened by climate change, according to a new Pentagon report cited by the Military Times.
According to the report, 53 bases currently face threats from flooding, 43 are endangered by drought and 36 are threatened by wildfires.
The analysis does not cover each U.S. military installation, focusing on 79 Army, Air Force and Navy facilities with important operational roles.
