Infantrymen, British Paras Train Together At Urban Warfare Center

Omani soldiers have been training with British paratroopers this month on the Salisbury Plain in England, reports the U.K. Ministry of Defense.

The two-week Exercise Wessex Thunder involved personnel from the Omani Western Frontier Regiment and Colchester-based 2nd Battalion, the Parachute Regiment.

The drills concluded last week with a coordinated simulated assault on the urban warfare training facility at Copehill Down.
