Yemeni officials say repeated air raids in southern Yemen have killed dozens of Al-Qaida militants, reports the BBC.
After three days of such strikes and shelling, government troops seized al-Rahha, a stronghold of Al-Qaida in the Arabian Peninsula (AQAP), officials said.
At least 38 militants were killed in Lahj province, they said. Other reports put the death toll at 43.
The strikes followed last week's attacks by militants against army bases in the region.
