Following Sea Acceptance Trials, Frigate To Be Commissioned Soon

Morocco's third SIGMA frigate has passed sea acceptance trials, reports Dutch manufacturer Damen Schelde Naval Shipbuilding.
The frigate left the shipyard in Vlissingen on May 22 to conduct the acceptance trials in the North Sea, said a company release.
During the trials, the frigate tested its sensor weapons and communications suite.
This frigate is scheduled to be delivered in September 2012.
