Dozens were killed and scores injured when a suicide car bomber detonated his explosives Friday in a crowded market in Peshawar in northwest Pakistan, the Los Angeles Times reports.
About 110 pounds of explosives were packed into the car, which was traveling through the Khyber Bazaar at the time of the blast, said a police bomb squad specialist.
At least 41 people were killed and over 100 were wounded, with about 15 in critical condition, security officials said.
