Bombers Hit In Herat, Helmand

At least 18 people have been killed in a pair of separate suicide car bombings against Afghan government offices, reports the Press Association (U.K.).

On Tuesday, two men and a woman drove an explosive-laden 4 x 4 into the gate of a district headquarters building in Herat province, killing at least 10 people and wounding 27 others, said security officials.

Afghans were queued to see officials at the time of the attack, reported the BBC.
