An Italian missionary in northern Bangladesh, who has been working as a doctor, has been wounded by gunmen, reports the New York Times.
Piero Parolari, 78, a Roman Catholic priest serving in a hospital run by missionaries, was visiting a patient in the northern Dinajpur district on Wednesday when unidentified attackers drove up on a motorcycle and opened fire at him, said police.
A bullet grazed Parolari's skull, said medical sources. He was said to be in stable condition. ...
