Six police officers have been killed in another attack in Burkina Faso's northern Soum province, reports Agence France-Presse.
On Monday, police were ambushed by "armed terrorist groups," said security sources.
The gendarmes were on a resupply run to the town of Djibo when they were attacked by around 100 militants, reported Infowakat (Burkina Faso).
Four officers were also wounded in a separate attack in the northern Yatenga province, said a source.
