4 Belarusian Officials Charged In May 2021 Aircraft Piracy Incident

U.S. Prosecutors have charged four Belarusian officials for falsely diverting a passenger aircraft so that a dissident journalist onboard could be arrested, reports the Dept. of Justice. 

On Thursday, a federal grand jury in New York indicted four officials for conspiracy to commit aircraft piracy.
