At least a dozen people have been killed in a militant assault in eastern Democratic Republic of the Congo, reports Reuters.
Late on July 7, Islamist militants attacked a clinic in Lume in North Kivu province, killing at least a dozen patients, witnesses said.
On Saturday, the Islamic State claimed responsibility for the attack on its Telegram channel.
