Around 4,000 allied military personnel from 11 NATO countries are taking part in Exercise Iron Sword in Lithuania, reports the Lithuanian Ministry of Defense.
The drills, which began on Nov. 20 and run until Dec. 2, cover defensive and offensive operations; tactical movements; combat support; urban operations; and other missions.
The participants are coordinating joint operations with NATO allies, the ministry said on Monday.
