OVERVIEW

The Brazilian air force (Forca Aerea Brasileira, or FAB) is organized into five commands: Aeronautics Command (COMAER), Preparing Command (COMPREP), Aerospace Operations Command (COMAE), General Staff Command (COMGEP), and General Support Command (COMGAP). COMGAR assets are divided into 12 wings.
