Militants in the Nigeria’s northwestern Katsina state are demanding a ransom after kidnapping more than three dozen people from a farm, reports the Premium Times (Lagos).
On Sunday, the terrorists attacked the farm in the Mai Ruwa community, taking away 40 people, including 39 children, who were working there.
The next day, the militants reached out to some of the parents of the abducted children, demanding a ransom of US$68,460 for their return.
