Boeing has released a computer-generated image depicting what the B-52H bomber will look like after upgrades, reports the War Zone website.
The Air Force’s B-52H bombers are expected to undergo major upgrades in the next few years, including larger underwing engine pods to accommodate new Rolls-Royce F130 turbofans and a new digital engine control system.
Boeing’s rendering also has a revised nose section, which will house the AN/APG-79 active electronically scanned array (AESA)...
