Navy Conducting Mediterranean Drills With Russia

Algeria and Russia are conducting joint naval drills in the Mediterranean Sea Oct. 19-22, reports the Turkish state-run Anadolu Agency.

According to the Algerian Defense Ministry, an unspecific number of Russian warships and Algerian vessels will take part in the exercises.

Moscow and Algiers had conducted similar naval exercises last November, including tactical and interception drills.
