The U.S. Army has awarded Lockheed Martin a contract for multiple rocket launchers for U.S. and Foreign Military Sales program requirements, reports the U.S. Dept. of Defense.
The $430.9 million covers an unspecified number of full-rate production High-Mobility Artillery Rocket Systems (HIMARS) and support services to meet urgent Army and FMS partner requirements, the Pentagon said in a Dec. 1 release.
Work under the contract is scheduled to be completed by Dec. 31, 2025.
