A Bomber Task Force (BTF) of B-1B Lancer strategic bombers landed at Andersen Air Force Base, Guam on Oct. 18, reports U.S. Pacific Air Forces.

The BTF will train with U.S. allies and partners in the region. Earlier this year, a similar BTF trained with Australian and Japanese air forces. That BTG focused on aerial integration and hot pit refueling.

28th Bomb Wing commander Colonel Joseph Sheffield said part of the BTF’s mission is: “deterring potential adversaries and challenging their decision calculus.”
